Even before i knew i wanted to do my engineering i started telling anyone who would listen that i’m going to do my MBA at the top universities like IIMs in India and become an entrepreneur. it felt like that was what would suit me. and i still feel that was the one best option i created for myself.

  16. Arjun Vijay says:

Am from Engineering background. But i got interested in management and marketing when i read an article about Nikola Tesla. Tesla was a great scientist almost equal to Edison. Despite making so many inventions he died a poor man. The main reason for this was the fact that he didn’t market his inventions in a proper manner. But Edison had the ability to maximize profits through establishment of mass-production systems and intellectual property rights. Edison was able to become a millionaire by his mid 40’s.. So i understood that however good the product maybe, the important thing is how it is marketed. Through good marketing skill u can sell even a poor product to large number of people.

  17. Karthick says:

All men by nature desire knowledge – Aristotle …. The first thing tat attracted me towards K!2011 was these two words Tarun khanna & Hardvard business school . Even though i am an engineer it’s always my dream to become an Entrepreneur . Knowledge is the field of management can be gained only through experience & this is the best opportunity that i got to do so … I wanna learn Physics from Eisenstein but i can’t , i think Tarun khanna will make that happen

    Taming a Bull in emerging market is always easier;
    But
Bear Market has never been tamed successfully……Why?

    What is a Hedge Fund?

  22. Akul Chopra says:

As an investor , which emerging markets would you be most attracted to put your money on?
If you were an entrepreneur which space would you start a company in?

  23. R.Naveen Kumar says:

How to Make the Jump from Employee to Entrepreneur?

Many of us with regular day jobs dream about running our own business. The idea of escaping the 9-to-5 grind and forging your own way in the world can seem a very attractive alternative to your office cubicle, but those who dare to dream of a such a life often wonder where to begin. When most people think about starting a business, they envision standing up and proudly walking out of their office with nothing but hard-nosed determination and detest of a mundane lifestyle, but it is important to realize that this is rarely how one makes the jump to successful entrepreneur. Given that most of us have bills to pay and households to support, simply “walking out” is never a realistic option. But fortunately, for the determined, there is a better way to begin your new career as a business owner.

  24. Tuan says:

I would like to attend, so can you show me the link to the video conference?

  25. sayan. says:

    hi every one..
as Bud Fox famously said, “Life all comes down to a few moments. This is one of them.”

i will say..our heartbeat stops even when we are alive, and this is one of them.

even being an engineer (from a country having an “emerging market”), i have always been more interested in the management field and which i will pursue in my masters level..

according to me management of technical skills , i.e., b.tech and mba is a very good combination..so i am on for it..

and speaking about this chance of interaction with Tarun Khanna its like “1 time trip to heaven”..

thanks a lot kurushetra…looking forward to this lecture from this great man..
