Prof. Tarun Khanna shares his opinion with livemint on ways to improve the higher education scenario in India. Rendering focus on the higher education Bill introduced by Kapil Sibal some time back, Prof. Khanna expects the bill to address to the inadequacies being faced by the higher education system in India.

Prof. Khanna points out three main inadequacies faced by the higher education system of India. These are – inadequate competition from other better institutions, inadequate experimentation and inadequate measurement of returns.
